Opera will soon be brining its very popular mobile browser software Opera Mobile to Android Platform. Android market is growing rapidly and with the introduction of the major iPhone Applications for Android platform, its not surprising that Opera is introducing an application for the same. Recently a Wolfram Alpha Application was also released for Android. The company hasn’t exactly mentioned the date of its release but they say that it will be released within the coming few weeks.
For Opera’s OEM partners, the Android application has existed for quite some time now. Its just that Opera is rolling it out for the public to use. The full-fledged mobile browser will be free to download for everyone. As the application is immensely popular among iPhone users, it will no wonder be a benchmark mobile browser for Android mobiles as well.


The Opera Mobile for Android is altogether from Opera Mini for Android. Opera Mini is a browser that enhances web browsing on mobile devices by rendering the pages from Opera’s server rather than directly on the handset.

Opera is hopefully testing the Opera Mobile on all grounds so that people won’t have qualms about it just within a few days of its release. Opera mobile will surely upsurge as a major browser for Android powered devices.
