Youtube was acquired by Google for $1.65 billion in 2006. Youtube is Google’s one of the most beneficial acquisitions till date. Videos on Youtube are also monetized by Google and not just that. Google lets the video owners earn revenues from their videos.

Youtube just recently got a fully revamped look as compared to its look a year ago. It was given the name Cosmic Panda. The website now specially features the channels organized on the basis of the type of videos a user is interested in.
